The Family Et al. Company
The Family Et al.’s beginnings can be traced to an effort early in 2014 which brought together individuals from a multitude of backgrounds and life experiences to raise their collective imaginations towards a vision shared by the meetings organizer and company’s founder. The meetings centered around the potential to develop a different kind of organization in which it would be possible to defy traditional norms in positive ways. Part of the vision was for the creation of a company that was not just another company founded on social-wellness and innovation, but one that truly reflected the hearts and spirit of the people from which it was inspired. A family networking group toting the name, ‘The Family Work Group’ emerged in the spring of 2014 on the internet. As the year progressed, The Family Work Group’s forums for discussion and debate transitioned into inspirational, motivational, and knowledge-sharing spaces. Since 2014 the organizing half of The Family Work Group continued to research, develop and refine approaches to realize the company and it’s concepts, while the networking half of the group, which later became ‘TheGlobal Viillage ICG’, now known as ‘The Viillage Club‘ continued to grow holding to the Work Groups values but with its own mission, to forward compassion, community, and opportunity across the web.
The Family Et al.’s name pays homage to the original coming together of those families, friends, associates, and even random strangers who dared to dream anything was possible given enough love and time. The Family Et al. is proud to provide services, products, and opportunities which represent the values of our founding and quality.
